On my Toshiba it runs at 10-20 FPS at minimum / lowest possible settings, so I'm expecting it to gain at least a few more frames per second on the more powerful Dell. Unfortunately it crashes upon launch, with a pop-up message saying "Far Cry 4 has stopped working. Kyratis may not like you very much." (just kidding on the second sentence ;) ).

I know Ubisoft is full of assholes that just want to flame their supporters, and I've learned my lesson, but can't get this to work anymore. I know when I tried the pirated version, to make sure the game ran smoothly on my graphics card before purchase, the cheats worked. I'm not a great gamer, by far, so this is a make or break deal for me.
Far Cry 4 won't even open with a dual-core CPU installed, and while the game will load when using dual-core CPU's with hyper-threading enabled (for 4 total "cores") the performance isn't very good
For far cry 4, not for fixing shadow bug, I intend to increase and stabling my fps. Also my Far Cry is legal directly from Ubi Connect not pirated. Edit: Nevermind, I found it. In C:\User\user\Document\My Games\Far Cry 4\bb-78d99c-fb9b\GamerProfile.xml I turn off shadow quality and shadow cinematic quality.
PunkBuster is anti-cheat console and will not allow you to cheat. so unstall fra cry 2 keep your saved data. reinstall Far Cry 2 select custom option uncheck punkbuster and you should be all good
Go to your library and highlight Far Cry 3. Right click it and hit properties. Under he General tab, hit "Set launch options" and type in "-fullscreen". Once you've done that, open it normally and go to the video settings again. It should stay in Fullscreen now but I had to try setting fullscreen twice or so for it to work. Hope it helps!
And for the most part, this is true: The game is undoubtedly fun to play. Then again, bugs in Far Cry 5 can severely affect gameplay and distort reality to a significant extent. User reviews of this game are somewhat mixed. Compared to the previous iteration of Far Cry (Far Cry 4), Far Cry 5 is not covering itself in glory.
